Infiniti Permanent DAT2™ Technology: Why Lower Developer Strengths Deliver Better Results

Most colourists were taught: higher lift requires higher developer. While broadly true, it overlooks a critical variable — the technology inside the colour itself.

Affinage Infiniti Permanent, made in our Italian colour laboratory, contains DAT2™ (Diamond Activation Technology) — a proprietary system that simultaneously lifts and deposits. This built-in lifting action means you can achieve results with lower developer strengths, with significant implications for hair health and colour longevity.

How DAT2™ Works

Our DAT2 technology works by the colour simultaneously lifting and depositing at the same time during processing. This innovative hair colouring technology combined Diamond Blend ingredients with Activation Technology.

DAT2 is the synergy of these 2 systems which together maximize:

  • Deposit (into Cortex)
  • Uniform distribution of tone
  • Support hair with vital ingredients to protect, strengthen & add shine
  • Allow simultaneous lift and deposit - so as the product is lifting from the developer, the colour is depositing at the same time - working together.

Client Benefits You Can Articulate

Less scalp sensitivity — lower peroxide means a more comfortable experience.

Better condition post-colour — the crème/gel formula has a low pH of 8.2, minimising alkaline damage.

Superior colour longevity — colour on a healthier cuticle resists fading.

Reduced need for deep treatments post-service — saving time and cost.
